About us

Harvund is a privately held for-profit LLC. No products or services are offered to the public. We simply invest our capital conservatively in mainstream-type investments, with a mandate: Donate up to 40% of our investments generated monthly realized gross profit to a USA-based 501(c)(3) recognized public charity. Grow and conserve the company's investment capital base. Continuously strive to increase our investment generated monthly charitable donation amount. Make a difference!

Questions & Answers

Who is eligible to submit a nominee?

Anyone 13 years of age or older with a verifiable email address who would like to participate is welcome.

What Cause can I submit?

Any USA-based 501(c)(3) Public Charity in good standing is eligible.

Am I able to see submitted nominees, submittal counts, or who submitted?

Nominees, along with their corresponding count and donation amount received, if any, will be available shortly after the close of each month on the archives page. Submitter information will not be provided.

What happens if there is a tie?

First to highest number of submittals will be used to break any tie.

Are nominee submissions open for the entire month?

Yes, Using Eastern Standard Time.

Will there always be only one recipient per month?

No. As Harvund’s monthly investments generated donation amount increases, preset levels as they are reached will trigger a monthly donation to additional place winners, if any, and will be announced at that time.

Where can I find monthly results?

The Archives page is updated shortly after the end of each month.

Some things you should know:

- Submitted nominees are removed at the close of each month.

- Participants must submit or re-submit their nominee each month.

- More than one submittal from the same email address in any given month will null and void all the submittals from that address that month, without notice. Please read Harvund’s Terms of Use.

Purpose of Harvund.com: Harvund.com serves as a platform for gathering public opinion, providing a means to gauge the voice of the majority regarding the direction of their will, as part of our donation recipient process. A single individual user is allowed only one nominee submission per month. Please note that though intended Harvund does not guarantee the selection of any submitted nominees. All decisions regarding the selection of nominees are at the sole discretion of Harvund.

Eligibility: Nominees must be a USA-based 501(c)(3) recognized public charity in good standing. ‘Good standing’ means an organization that has taken the appropriate steps to meet regulatory requirements. Nominees not in good standing are ineligible for consideration and will be nullified without notice. Harvund retains the right to make final determinations regarding the eligibility of submitted nominees.

Age Requirement: Users must be 13 years of age or older to participate on Harvund.com. By checking the age box indicated upon sign-in, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement. Those under the age of majority should be supervised by a parent or guardian.

Privacy Policy: We collect your personal information in order to provide and continually improve the user experience, including: any information you provide, certain types of information about your use, including information about your interaction with content. Like many websites, we use "cookies" and other unique identifiers, and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser or device accesses Harvund.com.

How information about you is used, shared, and deleted: Your private information is not shared with any outside third party. We do use your personal information to operate, provide, develop, and improve the user experience, including: we use your personal information to communicate with you via different channels (e.g., email, contact us), provide functionality, analyze performance, and improve usability and effectiveness. "In addition, the email provided for sign-in and for submitting a nominee is assumed to represent a single individual. Each monthly sign-in grants a temporary membership valid only for that month. Users who wish to participate each month must sign in again. All submitted personal information and temporary memberships are deleted using the deletion methods provided by our website host shortly after the verification of monthly nominees for charitable contributions. Our website’s 'Archive Page' does not display any personal information, and personal emails are never sold."

Cookies: We use cookies to recognize your browser or device, in order to provide you with essential website features, including: recognizing you when you sign-in, submittal of your chosen nominee, and conducting research and diagnostics to improve our content and user experience. You can manage browser cookies through your browser settings.

Electronic Communications: By using Harvund.com, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including emails and email verifications. You agree that all communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Suspicious Activity: "Any suspicious or malicious activity aimed at manipulating the nomination process will result in the immediate nullification of associated submissions, without notice. Harvund reserves the right to make final determinations regarding the validity of submissions. Additionally, multiple submissions from the same email address in a given month will result in the nullification of all submissions from that address for that month, without liability or notice."

Distribution Risks: "Harvund's business, which focuses on mainstream investments, involves risk. While monthly charitable distributions are intended, they are not guaranteed. Current and future IRS guidelines on business charitable tax deductions, including limits and tax rates, along with Harvund’s monthly investment returns may influence Harvund's monthly donation percentage. Additionally, Harvund may impose restrictions on nominees who place more than twice consecutively within any 12-month period."

Governing Law: These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Reservation of Rights: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, pause or discontinue Harvund.com and or charitable contributions at any time without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access without liability or notice.

Copyright: All content included in or made available on Harvund.com, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software is the property of Harvund or their respective owners, and protected by United States and international copyright laws. The compilation of all content included in or made available through Harvund is the exclusive property of Harvund or their respective owners and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

Trademarks: In addition, graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, scripts, and service names included in or made available are trademarks or trade dress of Harvund or their respective owners in the U.S. and other countries and may not be used without prior written consent.
